2 Charged In Fatal Shooting Of Long Branch TikTok Star: Monmouth County Prosecutor
On Monday, June 30, authorities claimed that two individuals, including a minor, were taken into custody and accused in connection with the shooting death of a well-known TikToker on Long Branch.

According to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago, Long Branch police were sent to the beach area between Pier Village’s coastline and boardwalk at 8:58 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, after receiving a complaint of gunfire. Officers found Chrystopher Whyte with a single gunshot wound when they arrived, according to Santiago.
According to Santiago, Whyte was declared deceased at the spot.
According to Santiago, the young person is accused of committing several weapons violations and murder in connection with White’s shooting. According to officials, 18-year-old Woodbridge resident Darius Exilus is accused of several weapons violations.
With over 92,800 TikTok followers, Whyte was well-known for his contagious exuberance, which included backflipping fans and dancing in his car. More than 6 million people had viewed his most recent video, which showed him lounging in a beach chair in the Long Branch sand.
