25-Year-Old Killed In Fairfield Hit-Run Crash: Police

On Saturday night, June 21, in Fairfield, a car struck a 25-year-old man and fled, killing him.

According to Fairfield police, the collision occurred on Post Road close to South Benson Road at approximately 9:30 p.m. Before the cops could arrive, the driver fled.

After being taken to a nearby hospital, the 25-year-old passed away from his wounds. Authorities informed his family on Sunday that they would not be releasing his name.

Numerous witnesses to the collision dialed 911.

Through their investigation and witness accounts, Fairfield police traffic investigators were able to locate the driver and the vehicle.

Their name has not been made public by the police.
