5,000 Heroin Folds, Shotgun, Ammo Seized In Paterson Drug Raid: Sheriff
Following a bust at a suspected drug production facility on Friday, June 20, investigators found thousands of heroin dosages, crack cocaine, prescription medications, and a shotgun, leading to the filing of 15 drug-related charges against a Paterson man.

After conducting a drugs investigation, detectives from the Sheriff Office’s Bureau of drugs (BON) detained 42-year-old Jason E. Sizer during a court-authorized search of 396-398 East 18th Street, according to Passaic County Sheriff Thomas Adamo.
Nearly 5,000 heroin folds, roughly 2.5 ounces of raw heroin that may have been laced with fentanyl, and more than half an ounce of crack cocaine were among the many illegal drugs that sheriff’s detectives found, according to Adamo.
Additionally, they retrieved a number of prescription drugs, such as:
- 22 Oxycodone pills
- 43 Tramadol pills
- 20 Xanax pills
- 28 Adderall pills
- 32 Fentanyl pills
- 28 Ecstasy pills
According to Adamo, the property was being utilized as a drug production facility because of the significant number of drug paraphernalia found there.
Detectives seized the following items in addition to the drugs:
- A shotgun
- Numerous shotgun shells
- Several boxes of handgun ammunition
- An imitation handgun
- $562 in suspected drug proceeds
Sizer was arrested and charged with 15 drug-related offenses, including operating a drug production facility, possessing a weapon while committing a drug distribution offense, possessing fentanyl pills, possessing multiple prescription medications with intent to distribute them, and intending to distribute heroin and cocaine within 1,000 feet of Paterson Public School #21.
He was taken to the Bergen County Jail, where he is being held while the case is being handled by the court.
