4, 6-Year-Olds Injured When 16-Year-Old Rolls ATV: PSP Chambersburg
In a statement released Thursday, June 19, Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg said that a 16-year-old had flipped an ATV on a Franklin County back road, critically injuring two young children.

According to the announcement, the collision occurred at approximately 4:10 p.m. in Montgomery Township on the 11300 block of Punch Bowl Road.
The teenager failed to safely negotiate a right-hand turn while operating a Polaris Sportsman 450 eastward. All three of the Chambersburg riders were trapped underneath the ATV when it turned onto its side and then its roof.
According to troopers, a 6-year-old passenger was gravely injured, and a 4-year-old youngster was only slightly damaged. For treatment, both were transported by air to Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. According to authorities, the teenage driver suffered severe injuries and was taken by EMS to Meritus Hospital.
Investigators found that none of the kids were wearing safety gear.
Due to driving at a dangerous speed, the teenager received a citation. Cunningham’s Towing had to remove the ATV from the site.
