Cops ID Man Found Dead In Brentwood Parking Lot
A guy who was discovered deceased in a parking lot in Suffolk County early on Sunday, June 22, has been identified by authorities.

At at 4:40 a.m., officers responding to a 911 call regarding a man on the ground discovered Alexander Velasquez, 46, of Central Islip, laying in a parking lot at 159 Clarke St., in Brentwood, according to county police.
In a statement released on Sunday, the department stated that Velasquez was declared dead at the scene.
The killing seems to be criminal in origin, and detectives from the Homicide Squad are looking into it,” police stated. The precise cause of death will be ascertained by the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
