13-Year-Old Sewell Boy Killed In Middle Township Crash: Police

On Monday, June 23, a two-car collision in Middle Township claimed the life of a 13-year-old Sewell resident, according to investigators.

When a southbound Mitsubishi Lancer tried to pass another automobile around 4:45 a.m., it crossed the northbound lane and collided with a Honda Accord, prompting Middle Township police to attend to the scene of the collision at Court House-South Dennis Road.

According to authorities, the 26-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi was taken to a local hospital for medical attention. According to authorities, the 55-year-old Sewell resident who was driving the Honda was taken to a local hospital for medical attention.

According to authorities, the 13-year-old passenger in the Honda was taken to Cooper Medical Center and declared deceased.
