Davon Hairston Convicted Of Killing Damien Servidio

Authorities said on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, that a Pennsylvania man had been found guilty of second-degree murder for killing a 22-year-old during a family get-together, just hours before the victim was scheduled to depart for Miami for spring break.

According to the authorities, Damien was found stabbed in Harrisburg, along with Davon Hairston and the first block of North 16th Street.

On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at approximately 8:53 p.m., Davon Hairston, 29, also known on the streets as Boogz, was found guilty of stabbing Damien Servidio in the abdomen, almost severing his spine, inside a Harrisburg apartment, according to the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors say Hairston barged in demanding Twaney’s money, referring to Antwoine Burnett, an imprisoned dealer who felt Servidio owed him money, while Servidio was inside apartment 2A at 3 N. 16th Street, laughing with friends and family, preparing his midnight departure to Florida.

I have no intention of defeating Twaney. As he ran to the rear bedroom and collapsed in front of his younger brothers, Servidio let out a cry. His mother, Tarvia Byrd, saw Hairston standing in her living room with his hand stuffed in his pocket a few seconds later, cautioning her, “Don’t say nothing to nobody.”

Doctors stated that no one could survive the deadly wound caused by the blade’s 6-inch deep piercing. Less than an hour later, the hospital declared Servidio dead.

Hairston escaped after being seen on security cameras coming in and going out of the premises. When investigators discovered that Burnett’s girlfriend, Antoinette Martin, was texting Burnett from her house less than a mile away when sirens sounded outside her window, they immediately recognized his getaway vehicle.

Six minutes after the stabbing, at 9:00 p.m., Burnett called Martin at Dauphin County Prison. Hairston acknowledged stabbing Servidio on the recorded call, made fun of the victim’s wounds, and stated that they had to silence witnesses.

Hairston was on parole for first-degree robbery, aggravated assault, and terrorist threats at the time of the murder. In late 2018, he was freed from prison after serving seven years.

The jury found Hairston guilty of second-degree murder, which carries an automatic life sentence without the possibility of parole, after just three hours of discussion. On September 24, 2025, Judge Edward M. Marsico Jr. will sentence him.

The prosecution was led by Senior Deputy DA Breese Lantzy and Chief Deputy DA John R. Canavan. The inquiry was led by Harrisburg Bureau of Police Detective Jon Fustine.
