In a collision with a commercial vehicle in Bergenfield on Thursday, June 26, a Tesla was totally destroyed, according to information obtained by Daily Voice.

Witnesses at the site reported that the collision occurred about 5:45 p.m. near Lidl at the intersection of New Bridge Road and Woodbine Street.

The truck is shown speeding through the crossroads into oncoming traffic in both directions in footage that Daily Voice was able to secure. The traffic pole was then knocked down as the truck toppled.

Both cars are fully destroyed in the photos, and the traffic signal is out. It was unclear at first what the drivers’ conditions and possible injuries were.
