Juan Puertas, 76, Dies In Allentown; Family Sought

A 76-year-old Allentown man passed away earlier this week, and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said Thursday, June 26 that they are looking for his next of kin.

According to the announcement, Juan P. Puertas passed away at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest on Tuesday, June 24 at 9:40 p.m.

Although an autopsy was conducted on Thursday, authorities stated that additional forensic and toxicological testing is still necessary to determine the cause and manner of death.

Now, the public is being asked to assist the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensic Center in finding Puertas’ family.
