Ahmad Kharma, Shannon Buschner Killed In MD Murder-Suicide

Following the discovery of a man and woman dead in a gory scene in Maryland on Monday night, authorities have revealed new information as they continue their investigation.

A man and woman were discovered dead inside a house on Summer Blossom Lane in Columbia, and Howard County Police are looking into a possible domestic murder-suicide.

According to authorities on Tuesday, July 1, officers were called to the 7500 block at approximately 8:15 p.m. on June 30 when an acquaintance went to check on the two and discovered both deaths inside.

Detectives suspect Ahmad Kharma, 23, shot and killed Shannon Buschner, 47, before shooting himself, according to police. At the scene, Kharma was found next to a gun.

According to detectives, the two shared the house and were in a relationship. According to police, the shooting did not involve anyone else.

Officials stated that they are still investigating the shooting’s motivation and precise timing.
