Brian Tarrence Left His Airbnb In Middle Of Night Last Month

According to a recent story, a 51-year-old New York man went missing in the middle of the night last month while on vacation with his wife, prompting police on the Caribbean islands of Turks and Caicos to launch a homicide investigation.

On June 25, Brian Tarrence vanished while on vacation in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Around 4 a.m., he was last observed making his way toward Grace Bay.

The last sighting of Manhattan resident Brian Tarrence, who had gone to the island to commemorate his first wedding anniversary, occurred at roughly 4 a.m. on June 25. According to NBC News, he was making his way toward Grace Bay.

On Saturday, July 5, the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force found a decaying body in Grace Bay. Police have begun a homicide investigation over those remains, according to the New York Post on Sunday, however authorities have not yet formally named Tarrence as the victim.

Carl DeFazio, a private investigator engaged by the family to help with the hunt, stated that since Tarrence disappeared, there has been no movement on his bank accounts or credit cards.

“If he was robbed, by now I think I would have seen a credit card charge, or found his wallet, or found him, you know,” DeFazio told CBS News.

Additionally, DeFazio told NBC News that Tarrence’s wife is clueless as to why and where he would have gone if he had left their Paradise Inn condo in the middle of the night. He was out so late, which was unusual, she remarked.

The security footage shows Tarrence holding his phone. DeFazio stated that in order to get GPS data from the gadget, detectives are collaborating with his service provider.

Diligent Software, where Tarrence is a vice president, said it is collaborating with investigators.

“We have serious concerns over Brian Tarrence, one of our team members, who has been reported missing. “During this very trying time, our thoughts and prayers are with Brian and his loved ones,” the company told news outlets in a statement. “We have hired a security company to assist in the ongoing search and have offered our complete cooperation to local law authorities. Our first concern is always the security and well of our workers, and we are doing all in our power to help find Brian.”
