, returning for its 18th year to benefit the Newport Historical Society and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County.

The annual showcase, which has become a cornerstone of Newport’s summer social calendar, will take place at St. George’s School Ice Rink in Middletown from July 25-27. The event opens with a Gala Preview Party on Friday, July 25 at 6 p.m., followed by public hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

This year’s show introduces six new dealers to the lineup, including Ralph M. Chait, Garvey Rita Art & Antiques, Guarisco Gallery, Antique French Fine Arts, Rosior, and Yew Tree House, joining the roster of well-regarded collectors and dealers from across the region.

A highlight of the 2025 show will be a new exhibition titled “The Summer of ’25,” which draws parallels between Newport’s summer season in 1925 and today, exploring the “sun, sports, and spectacle” that have long defined coastal life in the city.

“The Newport Show has become a treasured event on the summer social calendar,” said Anne Hamilton, chair of The Newport Show and secretary of the Newport Historical Society Board of Directors. “All are invited to take in the stunning beauty of the art and artifacts on display, revel in the history of Newport’s summer traditions, and support two important local organizations that contribute so much to our city and community.”

Since its establishment in 2007, The Newport Show has served as a foundational fundraising event for both benefiting organizations. The Newport Historical Society, founded in 1854, operates six properties and maintains extensive collections spanning five centuries, while the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County has provided youth programming since 1956, serving over 5,500 adults, children and families annually.

The event combines fine art appreciation with community support, offering attendees the chance to shop for unique pieces while contributing to organizations that preserve Newport’s history and support local youth development.
