Helicopter Responds To Trash Truck Crash With Entrapment In Dover (

Authorities reported that at least one person was trapped in Dover Township early Monday, July 28, following a collision involving several vehicles, including a garbage truck, which prompted the response of a helicopter.

According to York County emergency dispatch, the collision occurred in the 6000 block of Davidsburg Road between Paradise Road and Pine Hill Road at approximately 6:04 a.m.
According to the Dover Township Fire Department, Rescue Squad 9, Engine 9-2, and EMS are on the scene of the collision, which featured entrapment and reported injuries.
A medical helicopter was sent in because of the crash’s severity. As of this now, the extent of injuries is unknown.
The road will be closed for a long time, according to the Dover Township Fire Department.
The circumstances leading up to the collision are being looked into by the Northern York County Regional Police Department. The spot has not been visited by the coroner.
