For a new TV drama now titled Filch, Waldron Casting is seeking locals to appear as background actors in sequences that are being filmed on Friday, August 1.
The role entails playing Bridgehampton’s outdoor market employees and customers, and the producers are looking for actual residents who can self-report to set no transportation provided.
You must be over 18 and non-union in order to qualify. The salary? A good ten hours at $181.50, with overtime if the day goes on.
To apply, you’ll need to provide your name, contact information, clothing measurements, and a current photo. The casting call has all the necessary information.
Filch’s appearances in the news are not new. For a pool scene that was being filmed in Westchester earlier this week, the production sent out a request for one very specific type of actor: a hairy man who would be willing to jump off a diving board.
This might be your chance to shine, regardless of whether you’re helpful, hairy, or simply happen to live close to Bridgehampton.
