ID Released Of Biker Killed In Yorktown Crash: Police Give Investigation Updates
The identify of the cyclist killed in a collision on Route 134 in northern Westchester has been made public by the police.

In an update released on Friday, August 15, the Yorktown Police Department said that 44-year-old Jeremy Solomon of Irvington was hit by a car while riding his bicycle on Route 134 in Yorktown at around 7:47 a.m. on Thursday, August 14.
At the scene, Solomon was declared deceased. After undergoing a precautionary checkup at Northern Westchester Hospital, the driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old Yorktown resident, was subsequently released.
According to authorities, the motorist had the right of way at the time of the collision, according to the results of an initial inquiry that included a review of video footage.
Additionally responding were officers from the Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Yorktown Fire Department, Millwood Fire Department, New Castle Police, and Empress EMS.
The inquiry is being carried out by the Accident inquiry Units of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety and the Town of Yorktown Police Department.
