Bloomingburg Man, 32, Killed In High-Speed Crash On Route 416, State Police Say

According to authorities, a high-speed collision in the Hudson Valley on Friday, August 15, claimed the life of a 32-year-old male.

According to State Police Montgomery troopers, Ryan D. Tucker of Bloomingburg was traveling west at a fast speed when he was involved in a one-car crash on State Route 416 in the village of Montgomery at around 8:45 p.m.

Tucker, driving a 2016 Honda, impacted many trees off the west shoulder after failing to negotiate a right-hand turn through a yield sign into Union Avenue, according to state police.

Tucker, a Bloomingburg resident and the vehicle’s only occupant, was declared dead at the scene, according to authorities.

According to authorities, the Montgomery Fire Department, Montgomery EMS, Village of Montgomery Police Department, Town of Montgomery Police Department, and Village of Goshen Police Department all provided assistance to the State Police.
