Hawthorne Native Megan Corcoran Dies, 24

Megan’s obituary states that she received her bachelor’s degree from Rowan University in 2024 after graduating from Hawthorne High School in 2019. According to her obituary, she had been employed at the Recovery Centers of America in South Amboy as an admissions coordinator.

She is left by her parents, Casey Corcoran of Ridgewood and Michele Green of Hawthorne; brother and sister Erin Green; stepfather Doug Green; grandparents Lynn Corcoran and Joseph Kolinsky; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her partner, Tim Knipe.

The funeral home will be open for visits on Tuesday, August 19, from 3 to 7 p.m. On Wednesday, August 20, at 10 a.m., Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church in Ridgewood will hold a funeral ceremony. The burial will take place in a private setting.
