Mount Holly Police Department

The Mount Holly Police Department reports that the incident occurred on the 900 block of Woodlane Road at approximately 4:30 p.m.

According to a public safety alert, police said that officers are currently on the site looking into a collision in which a car struck a house. There are emergency services operating nearby.

Police asked motorists to stay away from the area. If at all possible, please look for other routes, the department advised. As the investigation progresses, anticipate a prolonged police and emergency presence.

The ambulance is partially stuck in the front of a one-story house, with its back still visible from the street, according to a scene photo that went viral on social media.

It looks like the collision damaged a white camper van parked in front. Outside the house, neighbors and onlookers can be seen congregating with police, firefighters, and emergency medical workers.

As of Thursday night, there had been no reports of injuries or the cause of the collision. The inquiry is still under progress.
