A recall of around 76,000 slap bracelet rulers with a Minecraft theme has been issued because of the possibility that kids could ingest the batteries.

In July 2025, Innovative Designs recalled the Minecraft Light-Up Slap Ruler Bracelets.

Approximately 75,900 Minecraft Light-Up Slap Ruler Bracelets are recalled by Innovative Designs, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday, July 24. Two bracelet versions that don’t comply with federal safety regulations for battery-operated toys are recalled.

Kids may readily reach the button cell batteries by opening the battery compartments in the wristbands. If someone swallows the coin-shaped battery, they could die or suffer severe damage like internal chemical burns.

Between March and May 2025, the wristbands were offered for around $2 at Walmart locations around the country. They came with three button cell batteries already inserted and came in pink and green.

There has been one report of a battery detaching from the toy, according to the New York City business. The CPSC reports no injuries have been reported.

The wristbands should be taken away from youngsters right away by their parents. Customers must email a picture of the bracelet to [email protected] after discarding it in order to get a complete refund.

Additionally, the CPSC cautioned customers that button cell batteries are hazardous trash that needs to be discarded correctly in accordance with local laws.
