Adam Bolewicz, Marine Vet, Dies At 52
The Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial Funeral Home website states that Adam “Bull” Bolewicz, a native of Berkeley Heights, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, at the age of 52.
Adam Bolewicz’s wife, Zofia, and two kids survive him.
According to his obituary, Bolewicz, who was born in Poland, moved to the US and served for ten years in the US Army and US Marine Corps.
According to his obituary, Bolewicz was also a voracious reader who enjoyed astronomy, art, making LEGO models, Formula 1 racing, English Premier League soccer, and Star Wars.
“Adam was the kind of neighbor who always had time to talk and an endless list of topics to cover,” according to his funeral notice.
Adam had strong opinions and was your guy whether you wanted to talk about cars, current issues, or the proper order to view Star Wars films. He had “a vast knowledge of topics nobody needed to know,” as he liked to say.
According to his obituary, Bolewicz is left by his wife, Zofia; his daughters, Mia and Jack; his mother, Wieslawa; his brother, Pawel; his sister, Danuta; and a host of other relatives and friends.
To help his family with living expenses, daycare, schooling, and other needs as they deal with their loss, a fundraiser has been established. The total amount raised as of Thursday, August 14, is over $21,000.
According to his obituary, a funeral is scheduled for Saturday, August 16 at 1 p.m. in Berkeley Heights’ Little Flower Church.
