Steve Burns From Blue s Clues Launching Podcast For Adults
Steve is returning, so prepare your sentimental, emotionally fragile heart if you grew up watching Blue’s Clues.
From 1996 to 2022, Steve Burns presented “Blue’s Clues” on Nick Jr.
Steve Burns reveals Alive, his brand-new podcast.
The popular Nickelodeon program that taught a generation about primary colors and paw prints, Steve Burns, has revealed his next big venture: a weekly podcast called Aliveforadults.
Now that everyone has a podcast, it’s practically a social obligation, so why don’t we? In a Wednesday, June 25 YouTube announcement, the Boyertown, Pennsylvania native stated, “You and I.”
According to Burns, Alive will be a thorough and inquisitive exploration of our world, addressing mature subjects like bereavement, mental health, and all in between.
He claimed that while it used to be about colors, shapes, letters, numbers, veggies, and other things, it could now actually be about death, sex, taxes, and everything else that makes life so strange and amazing.
Burns hailed the idea as carrying on the tradition he and his supporters began several decades ago.
He added that you and I have always been interested in exploring our world in depth and with curiosity in order to find these small pieces of knowledge that contribute to a deeper understanding.
And so began the global emotional collapse of older Gen Zers and millennials.
Every time this man talks, I cry. How will I make it through an entire podcast? One person commented. I’ll do it for Steve.
Another added, “He came back when the millennials and early Gen Z needed him most.”
As the original host of Blue’s Clues, the ground-breaking Nickelodeon series that combined live-action and animation to educate kids everything from colors to critical thinking, Burns gained notoriety in the late 1990s. Burns swiftly established himself as a reassuring presence in millions of homes with his green-striped shirt and kind, inquisitive manner.
Burns kept a modest profile while pursuing voiceover and music work after leaving the show in 2002. After going viral in 2021 with an emotional statement for the show’s 25th anniversary, Burns, who is now 51, has been reintroducing himself to his once-small audience.
He now frequently appears on TikTok, listening to his almost 4 million fans who still seek solace from him while sharing guidance, motivation, and sporadic admissions of fear and uncertainty.
In the video, Burns says, “Tell me what you might want to see, what you might want to discuss.” What do you believe a listener-friendly podcast may be? I’m thrilled.
Likewise, Steve. Likewise.
