Now that “F1: The Movie,” which earned over $600 million at the global box office after its June debut, can be rented for $19.99 or bought online for $24.99 on Prime Video, Apple TV, and other streaming VOD platforms, its viewership has grown.

On Friday, August 22, it became available digitally. The movie’s trailer is available here.

Pitt plays Formula One racer Sonny Hayes in the movie, who rejoins the track after a decades-long hiatus to save a former teammate’s squad from bankruptcy.

Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men), Damson Idris (Snowfall), Kerry Condon (Better Call Saul), and Tobias Menzies (The Crown) are among the other actors in the Joseph Kosinski-directed movie.

With an 82 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, “F1: The Movie” received a lot of love from both critics and moviegoers. One reviewer boasted that “if Formula One racing gets a big boost in the next year, just know it was because officials had the good sense to make this very effective Pitt stop.”

Variety claims that now that it is accessible on streaming services, the Apple Original Film production will probably be available on Apple TV+ before the year is over, possibly as early as November or December.
