CT Man Busted After Lisbon Home Invasion, Gun Theft, Assaulting Elderly Victim: Police
Following a tumultuous incident in Lisbon, a Connecticut man is facing significant charges after police claim he broke into a house, took a gun, and assaulted an elderly victim.

When someone called police to report a guy yelling at passing cars on Kimball Road around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, Michael Grenier, 36, of Enfield, was first introduced to the police, according to Connecticut State Police.
Troopers discovered while route that the individual may have been a gun-wielding participant in a violent incident at a nearby residence.
Soon after, troopers located Grenier in the road, exactly as the caller had described him.
As the investigation progressed, he was taken into custody right away. According to officials, a victim told officers that Grenier had broken into a house on Kimball Road, attacked them, and taken a gun.
Later, that gun was found not far from where Grenier was apprehended.
Grenier was taken into custody and accused of:
- Home invasion
- Robbery
- Interfering with an officer/resisting
- Three counts of breach of peace
- Disorderly conduct
- Stealing a firearm
- Assault involving an elderly or vulnerable victim
According to officials, Grenier was being jailed on a $200,000 bond.
