Deadly Fire Risk Prompts Recall Of 100K Mattresses Sold On Amazon

According to regulators, tens of thousands of mattresses that were sold on Amazon are being recalled because they pose a major fire risk.

Crayan recalled a mattress in June 2025.

Crayan stated on Wednesday, June 18, that it was recalling around 100,000 of its 10-inch and 12-inch mattresses. The mattresses present a danger of severe injury or death and do not adhere to federal open flame flammability regulations.

Crayan is making direct contact with every known buyer. The CPSC reports that as of the recall date, no injuries have been reported.

Between July 2022 and June 2024, the recalled mattresses were exclusively offered for sale online on Amazon for prices ranging from $100 to $220. Compressed in a box, they were available in twin, full, queen, and king sizes.

The brand name “Crayan” is printed on the gray side panel of each mattress’ white quilted top. The dimensions and fiber composition are listed on a white label that is sewed onto the cover along with the words “WG/P Foundation.”

Customers should contact Crayan for a complete refund and cease using the mattresses right now. Customers must write “recalled” in large letters on the white top panel and email a picture of the marked mattress to [email protected] to confirm that it has been disposed of in order to get their money back.

Japan is where the mattresses were made. Foshanshi Liyue Jiaju Youxian Gongsi of China, operating under the name Crayan, imported them.
