Dejon Elijah Warren Killed Dog During MD Dispute: Sheriff
According to authorities, a Maryland man is in jail after he allegedly shot and killed a dog during a neighborhood fight in Waldorf using an AR-15-style rifle.

According to officials on Thursday, Dejon Elijah Warren, 25, was taken into custody on June 20 by members of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office Judicial Services Section in relation to an incident that occurred in the 4500 block of Ruston Place on May 18.
The sheriff’s office claims that Warren pulled out an AR-15-style gun as he was having a disagreement with a neighbor.
The other individual returned to their house. The neighbor’s dog was tied up outside the house when Warren reportedly turned the gun on it, killing it, according to the police.
Then he ran away.
Officers secured a warrant for Warren’s arrest following an investigation.
The agency said he was accused of violating probation, criminal animal cruelty, reckless endangerment, and firearms crimes.
According to authorities, Warren is still being held at the Charles County Detention Center without bond.
