Gary Busey Pleads Guilty In Cherry Hill Groping Case, Judge Rejects Dismissal Bid: Report
In a 2022 groping case in South Jersey, actor Gary Busey first entered a not guilty plea before entering a guilty plea to one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.

According to ABC, the 81-year-old virtually submitted his plea on Thursday, July 31.
During picture shoots at the Monster Mania Convention, which took place at a motel in Cherry Hill (Camden County), Busey was charged with molesting several women.
Prosecutors agreed to drop one case of attempted criminal sexual contact and three further counts of criminal sexual contact as part of the plea deal, according to 6abc.
According to 6abc, Busey’s defense lawyer requested that the judge dismiss the indictment at the hearing. Judge Gwendolyn Blue refused that motion.
The date of sentencing is set for Wednesday, September 18.
Most famously, Busey played Buddy Holly in the Academy Award-winning film “The Buddy Holly Story.” And he was in “A Star is Born.”
