Officers responded shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Monday, June 16, to the 2000 block of Daniel Stuart Square in Woodbridge for a reported assault, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

The victim, a 26-year-old man, told police he saw several men approach a woman he knew and “demand her property.”

When the man intervened, the suspects “assaulted him and brandished a firearm before taking his property,” police said.

As the man lay on the ground, a vehicle pulled up and drove over him, then stopped. The suspects got in the car and fled the scene.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects were described as:

  • A white male with blonde hair, a mustache, and a tribal tattoo on the left side of his face who was last seen wearing a black fitted cap, white t-shirt, blue sweatpants, and all-white Jordan sneakers;
  • A Hispanic male, bald, with a goatee and multiple facial tattoos who was seen wearing a blue t-shirt, light blue shorts, and Adidas shoes;
  • A Black male with a tattoo on his left hand last seen in a ski-style mask, glasses, a gray sweatshirt, and purple pants.

The suspect vehicle is described as a Toyota Camry with tinted windows.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Prince William County Police.
