Lexus Stewart Accused Of Stealing From LI Rehab Patient
On Long Island, a former home health care provider is charged with stealing and using an elderly patient’s debit card.

Following an investigation by the Financial Crimes Unit of the Suffolk County Police Department, Lexus Stewart, 28, of Wyandanch, was taken into custody on Wednesday, June 25.
Before the 82-year-old Bethpage woman was admitted to an Oakdale rehabilitation facility, investigators found that Stewart had served as her home health aide, according to police.
Police say that Stewart visited the woman at the center on Monday, May 12, took her debit card, and took $500 out of her account. Later, the victim received the card back in their wallet.
Stewart was accused with both identity theft and grand larceny.
