ICE Philadelphia reports that Olvin Mauricio Martinez Coto, a Honduran Top 10 Most Wanted fugitive who faces 44 years in jail for femicide, was apprehended on Long Island and deported.

On Wednesday, July 23, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Philadelphia announced the removal of Olvin Mauricio Martinez Coto, a Honduran national.

Martinez Coto is wanted in Honduras for attempted homicide, violent home invasion, and aggravated femicide—the deliberate killing of a victim because she was a woman. If found guilty in his native country, he may spend up to 44 years behind bars, according to officials.

“We will ensure that foreign fugitives will not find refuge in the United States,” stated Brian McShane, interim Field Office Director for ERO Philadelphia. Our efforts to protect the homeland from external dangers are shown by this cooperative effort between several ERO Offices and government partners.

Two prior deportations of Martinez Coto occurred in 2007 and 2019. He has never lawfully entered the United States, according to records. According to authorities, he returned to the nation for the third time on an unspecified date and place following his expulsion in 2019.

Martinez Coto was apprehended by the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, and ERO Long Island Fugitive Operations on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in Westbury, New York, where he had been hiding.

His case was highlighted by ICE officers as a warning:
