Branden Holloway, 26, of Hartford, and Joshua Jenkins, 33, of East Hartford, were found guilty of several offenses, including robbery, sexual assault, house invasion, and assault.

Prosecutors claim that the two, each wearing black clothing and carrying laser-equipped weapons, broke into one of the victims’ homes late at night. They stripped the two victims and dragged them into the residence after ordering them out of a hot tub.

As the invaders looked for jewelry, money, and other valuables, the victims said that they were tied up, pistol-whipped, and subjected to demeaning assaults. After about two hours of suffering, the victims were able to escape, leap from a second-story balcony, and dash through the woods to a neighbor’s house for assistance.

According to a cooperative witness, the attack was premeditated. Jenkins and Holloway were located close to the scene during the invasion by investigators using mobile tower data, Instagram and cell phone records, and other information.

Due to their involvement in the crime, both individuals are currently facing significant prison terms.
