Irish-American fiddler Eileen Ivers will return to The JPT Film & Event Center Dec. 13 for a Christmas concert titled “Joyful Christmas,” Spectacle Live announced Tuesday.
The 7:30 p.m. performance marks Ivers’ second consecutive December appearance at the Washington Square venue, following her 2024 show. She has performed in Newport multiple times over the years.
General ticket sales begin Friday at 10 a.m. through JanePickens.com or 1-800-657-8774. Spectacle Live members receive presale access Thursday at 10 a.m.
The concert will feature traditional Wren Day songs, poems and roots music. Ivers, known for collaborations with Sting and The Chieftains, will perform with her ensemble using multiple instruments.
The JPT Film & Event Center occupies a building constructed in 1834 as a church. The venue has operated as Newport’s only downtown movie theater since the 1920s.
Spectacle Live operates venues across New England from offices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Founded in 2012, the company partners with more than a dozen facilities to promote concerts and entertainment events.
The company stated all sales are final with no refunds, exchanges or cancellations permitted. Ticket prices were not announced.
