Man Busted In Fentanyl, Cocaine Sales Probe In Poughkeepsie: DA

After a focused investigation into drug trafficking in a residential area of Dutchess County, officials charged a man with felonies.

According to authorities, Bryan Bucchioni, 41, was taken into custody concurrently with a search of his residence on Muldowney Circle at the Corlies Manor complex in Poughkeepsie.

Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office cocaine Task Force investigators connected 41-year-old Bryan Bucchioni to cocaine transactions near Thompson Street in the city of Poughkeepsie, leading to his arrest on Thursday, June 26. The Task Force made the announcement on Monday, July 7.

According to Task Force members, the arrest followed several controlled purchases of cocaine and fentanyl from Bucchioni in and around 59 Thompson St. Investigators were able to get a search warrant for his home as a result.

The task force said that Bucchioni was arrested without incident on Mansion Street. Officers simultaneously carried out a search warrant at a house in the Corlies Manor housing development on Muldowney Circle.

Along with digital scales and packaging supplies frequently used in drug distribution, agents reported finding drugs.

Bucchioni was accused with selling a controlled substance in the third degree. More charges are anticipated, according to authorities.

As mandated by New York State law, he was released under probationary monitoring after being arraigned in Poughkeepsie City Court.
