According to authorities, a New York man was arrested in Greenwich when they found illegal guns, tactical gear, and phony DEA badges in his vehicle following a straightforward shoplifting complaint.

Yonkers resident Gentian Gjana, 33, was arrested on Thursday, June 26 and is facing several offenses.
Around 1 p.m., an employee at a Greenwich store reported that a man and a woman had stolen a pair of $548 sunglasses, prompting the police to be called, according to the authorities.
Gjana was shortly discovered nearby by the police. Although he denied stealing the sunglasses, police claimed that the store’s accusation was supported by the security footage.
However, as authorities searched Gjana’s vehicle, the situation worsened.

According to officials, Gjana was accused by police of forgery, unlawfully carrying firearms in a car, conspiring to commit theft, possessing a shoplifting device, and unlawfully possessing ammunition.
