On Wednesday, July 30, Lancaster police reported that a man had died in a “self-inflicted incident” in the city.

According to Lancaster City Police, at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Monday, July 29, officers responded to a medical emergency on the first block of East King Street.

According to investigators, the adult male was declared deceased at the site. The death was ruled a suicide by the police.
