Man Exposes Himself, Urinates In Front Of Elementary School In Poughkeepsie: Police

After reportedly urinating and exposing himself on the pavement in front of an elementary school in Dutchess County, a man is being charged with several offenses.

According to authorities, the incident took place in front of Poughkeepsie’s Warring Elementary School.

The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department said on Friday, June 27, that the individual was seen by detectives in front of Warring Elementary School on Mansion Street at approximately 2:24 p.m. on Thursday, June 26.

The man, 65-year-old Delroy McPherson, was exposing himself in public, according to the police. Detectives allegedly found many debit and electronic benefit cards with names other than his own on him when they went up to him.

Following his detention, McPherson was accused with criminal possession of public benefit cards and public lewdness.

After being taken to police headquarters, he was processed and given an appearance ticket before being released.
