After seeing a casting call from Grant Wilfley Casting, Bryana Demonte, a professor at The College of New Jersey, submitted her daughter Giada and son Luca for parts in the upcoming Adam Sandler movie.

What came next? Bryana texted me to let me know that the director had chosen Luca to play the lead actor’s youngster. It was crazy that he never went to audition. I was afraid it was a fraud.

It wasn’t.

The Alpine Country Club served as the location for Luca’s opening scene. He was one of four boys selected to represent the young sons of Happy Gilmore.

According to Bryana, it was his first time on site.

Eight enters and exits the water. Eight changes of clothes. Wetsuits. crews for water safety. According to his mother, Luca was a lot of a tiny guy, but he was amazing.

In her own words, “It was nothing short of surreal,”

Another scenario shows Luca and his “brothers” causing mayhem on a golf course in a phony Trojan commercial. Bryana stated that they were instructed to simply smash up a golf bag. They had a great time.

Luca was able to land the role because to his long, curly hair. “Luca,” Bryana responded, “I chose you for your hair,” the director said. It makes Luca very proud. Sometimes people mistake him for a lady, but he doesn’t mind at all.

The family believed that the filming had finished. Then, Bryana received a second casting text, this time for Giada, her 2-year-old daughter.

I was really perplexed. “Said Bryana.” No reference to a daughter was ever made.

As it turned out, however, Giada was chosen to play the lead actor’s younger child. Julie Bowen holds Giada in her scene, which was shot in Moonachie on the last day of filming, as the Gilmore boys play a computer game.

Sunny Sandler, Adam’s real-life daughter who plays his on-screen daughter Vienna in the movie, was also on site that day. According to Bryana, she even shared a picture of Giada on Instagram.

With the release of “Happy Gilmore 2” on Netflix, both children have finally gotten their turn.

“I’m a content mother,” Bryana remarked. In such a classic film, they each received a brief moment on screen and their five seconds of fame.

What will happen to the Demonte siblings next? According to Bryana, Luca wanted his mother to get him a Pokemon commercial, but Giada is too little to comprehend.

Bryana remarked, “I hope it does open some doors for them,” “I want to give him more chances. As long as he requests it, I will continue to do it and support it. We’re done if he doesn’t like it anymore.”
