According to Bristol police, Richard Stark was arrested at approximately 4:48 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to authorities, his social media posts criticizing Bristol Health CEO Kurt A. Barwis had raised concerns among Bristol Hospital staff.

Police did not immediately respond to an email or phone call asking for clarity on what Stark is alleged to have posted and the type of threats.

Photos of origami, copies of years’ worth of complaints against government institutions, and sporadic political remarks are the main content of Stark’s public social media accounts. On Facebook, he describes himself as a left-handed noble savage.
