On Friday, August 1, 2025, Attorney General Dave Sunday revealed that a man from Northampton County had been found guilty of over 50 offenses related to the possession of child sexual assault materials.
Raisner, Ricky
After testifying all week, Mount Bethel resident Ricky Raisner, 67, was found guilty on Thursday of 50 counts of child sexual assault and one count of unlawful use of a communication service, according to Sunday.
Raisner’s bail was revoked at the verdict. His sentencing is set on Wednesday, December 17.
According to Attorney General Sunday, possessing these pornographic materials is by no means a victimless crime because the child portrayed is more exploited and victimized each time the files are accessed. Our Child Predator Section is dedicated to vigorously pursuing criminals who watch, gather, and distribute content related to child sexual abuse.
According to investigators, an IP address was linked to Raisner’s residence by the Attorney General’s Child Predator Section after receiving a tip. After executing a search warrant, agents found devices that contained content related to child sexual abuse.
Michelle Laucella, Senior Deputy Attorney General, prosecuted the case.
