Despite her short time with us, she represented a spirit that soared high, and her kindness, intelligence, and creativity touched the lives of many.Motivated by her desire to become a neuroradiologist, Aaliyah was a beacon of light. Her athletic prowess was the only thing that could equal her academic endeavors. She dabbled in basketball, cross-country, softball, ballet, tennis, and sailing. Her talent was a tribute to her hard work and inventiveness, and as an artist at heart, her drawings encapsulated the essence of life around her. Aaliyah was capable of anything. She loves to travel, play Fortnite, spend time with her family, and work at the Potter Shelter with the kittens.Aaliyah committed her time to volunteering and taking part in the Smiles Program as a member of the Key Club. The happiness she offered to her family and friends demonstrated her persistent dedication to uplifting others.Aaliyah was exceptional in both her character and her interests. Treasured recollections include the excitement of racing around on her e-bike and comfortable group pictures made on the couch with her siblings and relatives. Her lively personality was evident at the Surf Club, where she also worked.Along with her sister and brother, Lily and Leo, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and innumerable friends, Aaliyah leaves behind her devoted grandmother, Cindy Hightower.
