At the age of 74, Gerald Richard Warren of Thornton, New Hampshire, died on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the tender embrace of his loved ones. The late Barbara (Secort) Warren and William Charles Warren welcomed Gerald into the world on August 16, 1951, in Newport, Rhode Island. He attended Portsmouth High School and was raised in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
Gerald’s children, Alison Leigh Warren and Kimberly Anne Cote (Patrick), as well as his wife Diane Warren, survive him. His son, Brian Christopher Warren, and his devoted wife, Laura Christine (Bonville) Warren, passed away before him. Mahlynn B. Warren, Lauryn Silvia, and Colby Silvia were his three amazing children, and he was their very special grandfather (Grampa!). Gerald was a considerate and loving brother of Patrice, John, and Michael Warren.
Gerald was a one-of-a-kind individual. A wonderful storyteller, he changed the lives of everyone he came into contact with. Even though you didn’t ask for his assistance, he was the first to offer it. He was very charming and funny. If he was around, the room was never silent. He enjoyed going fishing with his family and friends. From the first time he met them, he treated them all like family. You were a better person if you had the privilege of knowing him. Gerald was the Pemi River Campground’s owner and mayor. He would get really happy every year since it meant that the camping season was about to begin. He cherished the Fourth of July and all of its associated craziness. He was always on his golf cart with his accomplice in crime and side kick, Baxter. He loved getting together for card night during the winters in Florida and was an amazing card player. His family will always remember him as the greatest of all time (GOAT) because of his unwavering generosity and the endearing way he would wink and smile at you. I hope he rests peacefully and knows how much he will be missed.
