On Friday, August 15, a 23-year-old man from Pemberton was taken into custody and charged with requesting naked pictures and films of minors he had met online, according to the authorities.

Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw of Burlington County claimed that Kristopher Trela would interact with minors on Snapchat, Instagram, and Discord. He would assert that

share explicit images and videos of yourself as a minor, then request that the recipients share films of themselves masturbating. According to Bradshaw, the inquiry also found that Trela had other discussions in which he asked for material about child sexual abuse, which he then exchanged with adult men.

According to Bradshaw, Trela was employed by the Champions Before- and AfterSchool Care Program, which runs a summer camp and provides services to Southampton Township School students, when he was arrested. According to Bradshaw, none of the films that were discovered in Trela’s possession featured Champions program participants. According to the company, he was fired.

The charges against Trela include debauching a child’s morals, distributing obscenity to minors, manufacturing and distributing child sexual abuse material, possessing child sexual abuse material with intent to distribute, and manufacturing child sexual abuse material, according to Bradshaw.
