According to officials, a car accident on Route 287 on Tuesday, June 24, claimed the life of a 72-year-old Piscataway lady.

According to New Jersey State Police spokesman Jeffrey Lebron, a Honda minivan heading south on Route 287 in Edison Township collided with the back of a Ford box truck at 10:36 a.m.

According to Lebron, Judith Kennen, the passenger in the front seat, died from her injuries, while Albert, her husband, only suffered minor ones.

According to Lebron, the crash is still being investigated.
