Prostitution Bust: Cops Raid Roxbury Spa Where NY Man Ran Sex-For-Cash Scheme, Sheriff Says

Authorities said that after looking into prostitution and money laundering, the owner of a massage parlor on Route 46 in Morris County was taken into custody.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll said that Bumsuk Lee, 67, of Flushing, NY, was accused after detectives found he ran New Paradise Spa, which is situated at 967 Route 46 in the Kenvil neighborhood of Roxbury.

According to Carroll, Lee ran an illegal massage parlor at the New Paradise Spa and took money made from sex activities that different staff members conducted there.

With assistance from the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes Unit, Roxbury Police carried out a search warrant at Lee’s home and the business in Flushing on Thursday, July 24.

According to the prosecutor’s office, a significant sum of money and items suggestive of prostitution were gathered.

Lee faced charges of second-degree money laundering and third-degree prostitution promotion. He is being incarcerated at Riker’s Island for extradition to New Jersey after being arrested by the NYPD.

Sujin “Rose” Huh, 43, was also prosecuted; according to authorities, she was involved in prostitution at the spa. For a disorderly individuals offense, she received a summons complaint.

The NYPD Queens Vice Unit, the Roxbury Township Police Department, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office were among the many organizations that took part in the investigation.
