Purse Snatched In Late-Night Robbery On Main Street In Poughkeepsie: Suspect At Large

In Dutchess County, a woman was robbed overnight, and police are looking for a culprit.

The 300 block of Main Street in Poughkeepsie is where the heist took place.

On Tuesday, June 24, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department reported that the incident occurred on the 300 block of Main Street on Monday, June 23, at approximately 11:01 p.m.

Officers discovered a female victim who claimed that an unidentified man had taken her pocketbook by force and fled.

The culprit was not found despite police searching the area.
