Roseland Officer Seriously Hurt In Crash Involving Commuter Bus: Source

According to Daily Voice, a New Jersey police officer was gravely injured in a collision on Friday, June 20.

It appeared that a NJ Transit bus was involved in the collision that severely damaged the Roseland officer’s car.

According to Mayor James Spango, the Roseland crash occurred at approximately 4 p.m. close to the intersection of Livingston Avenue and Becker Farm Road. An NJ Transit bus and a severely damaged police car are seen in photos taken at the scene.

According to Spango’s official statement, the officer was sent to UMDNJ for medical attention.

Spango reported in an update on Saturday morning that the involved officer’s surgery went well on Friday night. The officer’s condition is getting better, but it’s still not good.

In addition to expressing gratitude for the community’s assistance, the Borough encouraged people to keep the officer and their family in their prayers.
