It’s the final bow for the Who. The iconic band is embarking on their 2025 farewell tour, and it appears to be the last one after more than 60 years of rock ‘n’ roll rebellion, broken guitars, and songs that became anthems for many generations.

They redefined rock and shattered guitars fifty years ago. The Who is still touring today despite the passing of legendary musicians John Entwistle and Keith Moon. Watch Daltrey and Townshend perform live in 2025 as they embark on their final farewell tour.

The tour will be led by 81-year-old Roger Daltrey, who is still booming into the microphone, and 80-year-old Pete Townshend, who is the windmill guitar maestro. They will be accompanied by Pete’s brother Simon Townshend on guitar and vocals, and Zak Starkey (yep, Ringo’s son) on drums. The Who’s current lineup is one that fans are confident can still deliver the thunder.

With albums like Tommy and Quadrophenia, they changed the course of rock history, sold over 100 million records, and produced over two dozen successes, including My Generation, Won’t Get Fooled Again, and Behind Blue Eyes. The Who entered the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, helped create the rock opera, and influenced everything from Britpop to punk.

Although they had previously raised the farewell flag, this run is unique because both of the founding members are now in their 80s. This tour promises to be a spectacular farewell for those who have been waiting or who simply want to see more live, loud, legendary rock.
