Synergy Housewares Recalls 40K Wolfgang Puck Tea Kettles

Following many burns caused by the infuser basket lid falling off while in use, tens of thousands of tea kettles are being recalled.

In August 2025, Synergy Housewares recalled a tea kettle.

On Thursday, August 14, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said that Synergy Housewares has recalled around 40,000 Wolfgang Puck stainless steel small tea kettles. A detachable tea infuser basket was included with the kettles.

Following at least ten instances where the lid of the kettle’s infuser basket came away and tumbled while being used, the recall was issued. According to the CPSC, burns or scalding injuries occurred in five of the incidents.

The 14-ounce kettles were made of stainless steel and came in red, pink, black, and beige. The bottom is printed with “Wolfgang Puck Petite Kettle” and one of the lot codes.

The kettles were offered for sale on the HSN website and television network. They cost roughly $20 and were offered from August 2020 to January 2025.

Owners should get in touch with Synergy Housewares for a free replacement lid and cease using the kettle right away. Synergy Housewares, located in Coconut Creek, Florida, imported the kettles from China.

You can call 855-837-4111 or visit the Synergy Housewares website to find out more about the recall.
