Shooting Suspect Surrenders In Fredericksburg Teen Attack; Accomplice Apprehended: Police

Authorities said a man from Virginia who was suspected of shooting a teenager has turned himself in and that an alleged accomplice has also been taken into custody.

According to Fredericksburg Police, Camron Robinson, 20, of King George County, was taken into custody on Monday, June 30, one week after a shooting in the 1100 block of Central Park Boulevard left a teenager hospitalized.

The shooting took place just after ten o’clock at night. June 23, Monday, according to the police. When a 911 caller reported a shooting injury, officers were dispatched to the location.

According to authorities, when cops arrived, they discovered a young victim who had been shot. After being transported to a neighboring hospital, the teen’s status is described as stable.

Investigators reported seeing two young Black men at the location.

According to authorities, one of the suspects was eventually identified as Robinson, while the other as a minor.

According to the department, Robinson is accused of:

  • Aggravated malicious wounding;
  • Discharge of firearm in public place;
  • Use or display of firearm in commission of a felony.

Nevaeh Minor, 19, of Spotsylvania, was also taken into custody, according to the police. She faces charges of accessory after the fact and conspiracy to conduct a criminal.

As of Tuesday, July 1, a teenager also connected to the shooting has not been taken into custody. At the Rappahannock Regional Jail, Robinson and Minor are both being held without bond.
