Spencer Jorgenson Dies In I-84 Crash
Late Saturday night, July 5, a single-vehicle collision on I-84 claimed the life of a 19-year-old Connecticut male, according to state police.

According to a Connecticut State Police Troop A crash report, Spencer T. Jorgenson of Newtown was traveling west near Exit 15 in Southbury shortly before midnight when his 2001 Honda Prelude swerved off the road.
According to the investigation, the vehicle collided with a metal beam guardrail on the right shoulder, proceeded through it, then went down an embankment and came to an uncontrollable end.
The sole occupant of the vehicle, Jorgenson, was fatally injured. EMS took him to safety. As of this Sunday, July 6, the investigation is still underway.
