The Big Coaster: Shaquille O Neal Transforms Hersheypark Ride For Halloween

The Shaq-ification of Hersheypark is imminent.

This fall, Shaq will be bringing his flare to Hersheypark for a unique roller coaster.

This September, basketball legend Shaquille O. Neal and Hersheypark will turn the park’s well-liked indoor coaster into the Shaq-A-Licious Laff Trakk.

According to officials, the ride, which is based on his popular Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies, will make its premiere during Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights, which will take place in Hershey on Fridays through Sundays from September 12 to November 2.

Big Diesel (O’Neal) stated, “We’re taking the flavor and the fun of my Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies and blowing it up into a larger-than-life adventure.” This ride is full of energy and laughter from the moment you enter.

Touted as the first of its kind in the United States, the glow-in-the-dark coaster will have Shaq’s voiceovers, enhanced audio, illuminating sights, and immersive graphics.

The Vice President of Hersheypark and Entertainment Operations, Vikki Hultquist, stated that riders will whirl through a candy-coated world of enormous glowing gummies, heart-pounding music, and extravagant fruit-flavored mayhem.

“O Neal is one of the world s most successful athletes-turned-businessmen, with accomplishments on and off the court that have made him a highly sought-after consumer brand,” Hershey executives stated.

“Guided by his signature ‘Business of Fun’ mantra, Shaq brings his larger-than-life personality to every venture as an entrepreneur, sports analyst, DJ, restaurateur and brand ambassador.”

The temporary overlay, which combines the park’s excitement with “The Big Aristotle’s” larger-than-life image and candy brand, is the first ride re-theme in Hersheypark history, sources claimed.

“Hersheypark will further activate this brand partnership with new food and beverage offerings and exclusive retail through Hersheypark Halloween.”
